About
Every ceremony tells a story.
This one is mine.

Anthony “Tré” Hunter
Atlanta-based. At home across Georgia.
My dad was a wedding officiant. His name was Minister Tony Hunter, and for years his was the voice couples in this community trusted to speak the words that mattered most on their wedding day. He brought care and conviction to every ceremony he performed, and he carried himself as if each one were the only one that had ever mattered.
I began this work in 2021, in part to follow his example and in part to honor his memory. The craft he practiced and the standard he held are the inheritance he left me. Every ceremony I perform is, in some way, a continuation of what he started.
I came to this work already equipped. I grew up a musician. Writing has been in my hands since childhood, beginning with songs long before it extended to wedding ceremonies. That relationship with language and storytelling — the particular way a line can land in a room — became the foundation for everything I do today. I have been told I have a strong speaking voice for as long as I can remember. I have spent the years since learning exactly what to do with it.
More than a thousand ceremonies later, what still moves me is the moment right before I begin. A room full of people gathered for one reason. A couple trusting me with the most important words of their wedding day. That is a responsibility I do not take lightly. And it is a joy I have not gotten used to.
My approach has never changed: your ceremony should sound like no one else’s. Built from your actual story, written with your specific details, and held by someone who prepared for it as carefully as you prepared for the day itself. That is the standard my father set. I have no interest in lowering it.
Outside of weddings, I also operate a startup consulting firm. In my free time, I enjoy listening to all kinds of music, travelling, exercising, and learning. I currently live in my childhood home in Marietta, GA with my fiancé and our two crazy dogs: Niko and Rocko.
